I’ve been taking care of dogs of all sizes for 10 years now. I started out dog sitting for family members while they were away. Now I help friends, family, and coworkers watch their animals while they are away so they know they are in good hands!

I try to stick with the clients routine as much as I can. When I am in the clients home, I try to be with the animals as much as possible and build bonds with them. This includes playing with toys, giving cuddles and attention, and treats. Any animal I have watched will be treated like my own and will get all the love and attention they deserve.

Let me know if there are any behaviors I need to watch for and how they are with strangers. Animals typically warm up to me easily but some are harder to win over than others. I also need to know if they have special needs, dietary restrictions, and their typical daily routine so I can stick to that as much as possible!
A typical day
Some activities we would do is going for walks around the neighborhood, playing with toys at the house, running around in the backyard (if there is a yard) and playing games to make sure they get tired!

Availability
My daily routine while pet sitting depends on if I am staying at the house or not. If I am just dropping in, I usually get there around 7am to take dogs on a walk and feed them. I also stop by around noon, 6pm, and 9:30pm for walks, feeding, and play time. If I am staying at the persons house, it’s a similar routine except I am already there. I have a dog of my own so if she is able to join me, we will all go on walks together and be fed separately. If she can not come, in the morning I’ll leave earlier to go take care of her as well.
