Pet care experience
I have 20 years of experience with dogs and puppies, 7 with cats and kittens, and everything in between. I've cared/owned various breeds of dogs throughout the years and no one is too big or too small for me to handle. I also know how to bathe animals and know basic animal first aid such as CPR and wound care. Dog breeds that I've lived with and/or cared for over the years include: Labrador Retriever, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Rat Terrier, Chihuahua, Maltese, Yorkie, Sheltie, German Shepherd, Pitbull. I have the patience of a saint and I will care for your animals as if they were my own pride and joy, so you can rest, work or travel easy without worry if your pets are alright.

Amanda is a special kind of person. A certified Doctor Dooliddle type A. Animals just flock to her, dogs, cats, squirrels, it's like Cinderella sometimes it's weird. Seriously though you would be hard pressed to find a more caring, genuine, empathetic, young lady that is as professional and proud of caring for your pet as you are. I would trust her with any task with any of my pets that includes tortoises, bird, and fish. She is intelligent and understands animal needs and delicate care. Always a 10 out of 10.

If I were to come to your home to care for your pets, I would ensure to follow your household rules and make sure all pets are properly and securely leashed/harnessed for walks, undivided attention in home/yard, and to make sure there is nothing in the common areas for them to get into. I am very detail oriented and firm believer in honesty and communication, so I will provide you with frequent updates on your pet(s) during my stay and when they are in my care. I also know basic animal first aid such as CPR and wound care and have the means necessary to transport them to an emergency veterinary in case of emergency.

Please let me know if your dog/pets have any allergies, injuries, favorite treats, toys and specific behaviors. Also let me know if they get along with other people/strangers/children/animals we may or may not meet on walks so I know to keep them away/safe.
A typical day
I love to make sure dogs are having fun! There is a small local park in my neighborhood I like to frequent for walks. If we're at home, it's playtime! Toys and cuddles galore will be had! Treats upon Pet Parent approval.

Availability
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist part-time and I am available Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays after 3:00pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays all day, and Saturday/Sundays I work every other weekend so it could either be after 3:00pm or all day availability depending on the weekend.
