A tired dog is a happy dog

Pet care experience

I started dog sitting as a preteen watching my neighbors dogs when they went out of town. I have had several jobs that have take me to clients houses where I stayed for up to two weeks as well as had several dogs stay at my house. I have also dog sat as many as 3 dogs at a time in a clients home. I've worked with many breeds and all ages, as young as a few months old to several senior dogs so my experience is all over the board. I have also cared for a special needs dog named Moose who is in a wheelchair. I am a first time dog owner as of July 2017. I adopted my Benny from the humane society. He's been a wonderful addition to my family. I love trick training. It’s fun for me and the dog. If your dog is food or toy motivated I can work with them if desired.

Information Amanda R. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know about the dogs likes/dislikes. Do they like walks or do they prefer to lay on the couch and snuggle and watch tv? Also what their potty schedule is (if they have one)

A typical day

I’ve found enjoyment in training (including tricks) and making it fun for the dog. Keeping them mentally stimulated is also important to me to keep them from being destructive. A nice walk around the neighborhood or on a trail is there’s one nearby.
