Pet care experience
I grew up around animals, and my family always had a pet. I love cats and dogs! I don't have a pet of my own, but I have experience volunteering with dogs rescued form the Asian meat trade industry which takes patience and sensitivity. I have been a dog sitter for friends and family for over 15 years, and I take care of people's pets as I would my own. I have experience with pets of all sizes and temperaments. For your experience, I will be sure to comply with your personal standards and give you frequent updates, so you can have peace of mind. For your dog, I will make sure he or she is comfortable and engaged throughout our time together! Animals make life better, and as a Rover sitter, I hope to make your life a little easier.

Amanda has a heart of gold! While her living condition doesn't allow her to have her own dog, she is no stranger to dogs. She has plenty of pups in her life! Her parents have dogs, her sisters have dogs, her best friends have dogs. She's always been amazing with our 3 big dogs (they think they belong in your lap). She also fills her dog void volunteering at the shelter. She completely understands that dogs are a part of the family, and not just pets! She is always on time, a great communicator, extremely responsible, and immensely trustworthy. I would trust her to watch our dogs any day, and I'm a protective dog mom!
Amanda would be a fantastic person to watch or walk your dog! I personally have a German Shepherd that she watched for me as a puppy, and, if you know Shepherds, they are a lot to handle as youngsters! She has grown up with dogs and cats in her family and has the biggest heart for animals - including volunteering at shelters in NYC! My dog, Scout, is like my child, and I would absolutely have Amanda help me love and take care of her.
My dog always loves when Amanda keeps him! She always takes him on long walks and throws the ball with him PLUS she is a great snuggler with him and he just loves that!
Amanda P has been around dogs her entire life starting with a Basset Hound. Amanda has cared for my dogs on many occasions, treating them like a family mwmber.

When a dog stays with me, we will go on walks in Central Park. My apartment is one large open room with a long hallway, so we can definitely play fetch! When your dog gets tired, he or she is welcome to curl up on my bed or couch, and I am happy to bring their bed along with me for additional comfort!
