I love dogs more than people.

Pet care experience

I've always had a special connection with animals, especially dogs. I grew up on a farm and have experience with all types of animals from cows to chickens to cats and dogs! I work in the corporate world now but my true passion is to take care of and be in the company of animals. I have 3 parakeets, and two dogs of my own that are my babies. Petunia is a Yorkie and Mr. Pickles is a Snorkie, that's a schnauzer-Yorkie mix! Mr. Pickles is a rescue that was very afraid and timid when I first brought him home, but after showing him love and affection, he' turned out to be quite the happy little character! In the future I plan to open my own shelter and doggy daycare, and dedicate all of my time to animals in need. Before Petunia and Mr. Pickles, I had a wonderful little Bichon poodle named Pasta. She was a special needs dog with kidney disease. I administered medication to her on a daily basis and fed her a special diet. Last year Pasta lost her battle with kidney disease at 8 years old, and even though it was one of the hardest thing I've ever had to go through, it makes me feel good to know that I gave her an amazing life. To sum things up, i have many years of experience with animals, specifically puppies and dogs, and I am very experienced in assisting dogs with special needs, including administering medications. Your dog will instantly take a liking to me and we will have so much fun together going for walks and playing! If you are looking for a dog walker or someone to stop by your house and feed/check-in, then I am the right choice! If you have any questions, just ask! I'm more than happy to answer!

I’ve used Amanda several times over the past two years and she truly treats my furry child as if he were her own. My job requires long hours and frequent travel so I’ve use her for both walking and sitting services. Like many others, I refuse to board my dog, as he is already stressed with me not being there, and being in a strange environment adds additional stress. Leaving Harley with Amanda gives me a great feeling of security to know that everything is being taken care of. She always provides me with detailed reports on his activity, temperament and overall condition. It really brightens my day on those times where I receive a picture from her capturing his bubbly personality or catching in the act of being bad. Harley and I are very thankful for Amanda; her professionalism, and her genuine love of animals is irreplaceable. Amanda is best of the best!

Amanda is an absolute animal lover! She has always wanted to have a rescue farm so she could take needy animals in and take care of them. She has two small dogs of her own that she loves and cares for. I know that Amanda would be a great addition to your team.

A typical day

Walking is a very important part of a puppy or dogs daily routine. Depending on your location, I will research and find parks or trails that are in the vicinity that your special friend and myself can take a nice walk and enjoy nature! I will also play games with your dog, practice tricks, and give belly rubs...but only if your dog enjoys those things! If your dog has special needs, not to worry, I can administer medication and follow special instructions to make sure he or she is well taken care of! I welcome baby, young, adult, and senior dogs!
