I've always had a special connection with animals, especially dogs. I grew up on a farm and have experience with all types of animals from cows to chickens to cats and dogs! I work in the corporate world now but my true passion is to take care of and be in the company of animals. I have 3 parakeets, and two dogs of my own that are my babies. Petunia is a Yorkie and Mr. Pickles is a Snorkie, that's a schnauzer-Yorkie mix! Mr. Pickles is a rescue that was very afraid and timid when I first brought him home, but after showing him love and affection, he' turned out to be quite the happy little character! In the future I plan to open my own shelter and doggy daycare, and dedicate all of my time to animals in need. Before Petunia and Mr. Pickles, I had a wonderful little Bichon poodle named Pasta. She was a special needs dog with kidney disease. I administered medication to her on a daily basis and fed her a special diet. Last year Pasta lost her battle with kidney disease at 8 years old, and even though it was one of the hardest thing I've ever had to go through, it makes me feel good to know that I gave her an amazing life. To sum things up, i have many years of experience with animals, specifically puppies and dogs, and I am very experienced in assisting dogs with special needs, including administering medications. Your dog will instantly take a liking to me and we will have so much fun together going for walks and playing!
