Amanda is very friendly; It's obvious that she really loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. Chester seemed to enjoy his stay.

Amanda and her boyfriend are AMAZING. We had just adopted Pepper and had to go out of town, so were nervous about leaving her with someone so early on. She completely made our fears unfounded.
Incredibly warm and friendly, and great with dogs. She was very flexible with different plans and very communicative with us, even before Pepper came over. She was cool with meeting us ahead of time, and letting Pepper scope out her ...

Walks & Love While You're Away!

We recently moved to West Roxbury to a 1-story house with a fenced in yard. Your dog will be staying with us and our two dogs, 22 pound cattle dog mixes who love having company. Your dog will get personal attention and we genuinely enjoy their company. I love dogs, grew up with dogs, and dog-sat for years before getting dogs of our own. Dog training and understanding dog behavior is an interest and hobby ...

What Amanda would like to know about your dog

We love and accept all breeds!

We do not accept dogs who pee and poo in the house regularly. We're prepared to deal with accidents here and there when it happens with cleaning supplies and good attitudes, but your dog needs to be house broken. If we have your dog for a stay and it seems as though they're high risk for accidents, we may not be able to continue long-term sitting.

We don't take dogs that have separation anxiety that results in constant barking because we are very close to our neighbors and want to be respectful.

Lastly, we would like to know whether your dog has triggers for aggression or has ever bitten another person or dog. Although we have lots of experience with dogs and are major dog lovers, this is not our profession. Come to us if you want to leave your dog somewhere where they will have great care, lots of love, and fun while you're away! But if they need help with aggression, I'd recommend finding boarding professionals.

Other than that, we’re just excited to get to know you and your dog and would like to know anything that you think we should know to make your dog’s stay with us enjoyable for everyone!

About Amanda's Home

When Amanda watches your pet

Here's where we'll take our walks
We walk around the neighborhood and enjoy taking dogs to the nearby fenced-in dog parks (if you are interested in that). We have Hunnewell Park and Cabot Park which are fenced in dog parks within driving distance that we enjoy going to if your dog gets along with other dogs. We also spend time in our own fenced in yard.

Your dog's sleeping arrangement
If your dog has a bed, he/she can bring it on their stay. If not, we also have numerous dog beds we keep in the house. Though they're also welcome to sleep in our bed with us if your house rules permit it.
