Amanda is very friendly; It's obvious that she really loves dogs and enjoys spending time with them. Chester seemed to enjoy his stay.

Amanda and her boyfriend are AMAZING. We had just adopted Pepper and had to go out of town, so were nervous about leaving her with someone so early on. She completely made our fears unfounded.
Incredibly warm and friendly, and great with dogs. She was very flexible with different plans and very communicative with us, even before Pepper came over. She was cool with meeting us ahead of time, and letting Pepper scope out her ...

Walks & Love While You're Away!

We live in a quiet neighborhood outside of Newton Center with a big yard and park across the street. We rent a 600 square foot unit in a 2-family house that my grandparents own. We’ve been doing Rover dog-sitting for several years now and absolutely love it. Your dog will get personal attention and we genuinely enjoy their company. We adopted a dog of our own in November 2016 who is easy-going with all ...

What Amanda would like to know about your dog

We love and accept all breeds! Our apartment isn't very big, so the only real preference might be around energy level and size. We'll take your dogs on plenty of walks (and runs if desired), but there isn't much space to actually RUN far inside the apartment if you're bigger. Although we're quite active, for dogs over 50 pounds, we would prefer to take mid-life/older dogs who are more mellow.

We do not accept dogs who pee and poo in the house regularly. We're prepared to deal with accidents here and there when it happens with cleaning supplies and good attitudes, but your dog needs to be house broken. If we have your dog for a stay and it seems as though they're high risk for accidents, we may not be able to continue long-term sitting.

We don't take dogs that have separation anxiety that results in constant barking when we need to go out as we live in a 2-family and want to be courteous to our neighbors upstairs.

Lastly, we would like to know whether your dog has triggers for aggression or has ever bitten another person or dog. Although we have lots of experience with dogs and are major dog lovers, this is not our profession. Come to us if you want to leave your dog somewhere where they will have great care, lots of love, and fun while you're away! But if they need help with aggression, I'd recommend finding boarding professionals.

Other than that, we’re just excited to get to know you and your dog and would like to know anything that you think we should know to make your dog’s stay with us enjoyable for everyone!
