Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals for the last 20 years. I started by working at an animal hospital in the kennel, then I went on to be a veterinary technician for several years, and then became the office manager there. I can give any medications your pet needs and know doggy CPR/first aid. I love all dog breeds and I do not have a preference on which ones I will watch, as long as they are socialized. I work from home and only leave to pick up kids or go to the store. If I do need to leave the house for any reason I will not be gone longer than a few hours a day. I will treat your pet as one of my own, they will be in good hands.

My Toto and Hermione had the best time at Amanda’s house! She helped them feel at home immediately and I was soon receiving pictures of my children making themselves comfortable. I was worried about my Toto who is elderly and suffers from separation anxiety. Amanda’s vet tech experience and wonderful family helped put him at ease. I was so surprised when she sent a picture of Toto cuddling with her husband. This is a big deal for Toto who is normally terrified of men. I’m so glad to have found Amanda and I know my kids will enjoy going back whenever their mom has to leave town.
Amanda was great with hunter. You could tell he had fun at her place. I would definately recommend her to anyone.

I have A fenced in backyard. Pets are never unsupervised when they are in the yard. I also have a playpen set up indoors if they are nervous so they can have a place to feel secure until they are comfortable in their new surroundings.

Availability
I work from home during the day so I will have plenty of time to take your pet for potty breaks and supervised playtime. I do not take dogs for walks in my area since there are stray dogs from time to time and it is not worth the risk.
