My name is Amanda, I was born & raised in Arlington, VA. Primarily I provide housesitting & dog walking services for my nearby friends & neighbors. I am currently working from home in the Washington DC & Maryland metropolitan area. I have a fairly flexible schedule depending on the time of the year. I am attentive and responsible in caring for both dogs and cats. I enjoy traveling, lacrosse, hiking, running, and photography. I am comfortable with both elderly dogs and puppies, as well as cats (I grew up owning cats). At this time, I cannot offer any boarding at my own home, but I am available to housesit at your personal residence (overnight if needed). I prefer to work with families that are upfront with me about their pet’s demeanor, behavior, needs, and likes or dislikes. I can provide references upon request. Currently I am working from home. During a typical week, I coach lacrosse in the evenings, mainly in the Northern Virginia, DC, and Bethesda areas. I am able to provide visits or breaks for your pet every 2-8 hours depending on my schedule and time of year. Currently I do not offer boarding at my house, but I am happy to provide visits and care at your own home for your pets.
