Walks, Love, and a Bit of Training
Pet care experience
I've been raising dogs and caring for them my entire life. In my 30s, I began working with my first border collie on agility and competitive obedience training. I also began training service dogs. I work with Animal Care and Protective Services of the City of Jacksonville to foster special "behavior" cases and help modify behavior and provide essential training to get these dogs adopted. I am skilled with all breeds and sizes; I have owned Great Danes and Shih Tzus and Min Pins. I would love to come spend time with your dog a few times a day and provide essential playtime mixed with obedience either while you're away on vacation or just while you're working. I have two dogs of my own at home, a border collie and a pit bull mix.

I highly recommend her to be a dog caregiver. She not only helped me to get used to life with my new puppy (which was a big transition for me), but she showed her compassion for all dogs when she helped rescue a dog that was in terrible shape and had come on to my property. She took him into her own home to care for him until she could take him to a shelter. She has trained her own dogs very well - her newest dog, fish, is a completely different (happier, more social etc) dog than when she fostered and eventually adopted him. It's clear she gets a lot of joy out of being a friend and companion to them!
Amanda is a loving and compassionate dog owner. In addition to great care of her own dogs, she rescues dogs from near and far, and often takes in and trains dogs from the shelter so they'll become adoptable upon return - and, she helps them find homes! Her skills in dog training are impeccable and it would be hard to find someone more loving responsible, and caring of our four legged friends!

I find it best to try and stick with the dog's routine of when they go outside for business.
A typical day
We can go on walks in your neighborhood or, if your dog gets along with mine, I will pick them up and take them to the dog park with us so they can run free and play.
