Hello! My name is Amanda, I am currently a veterinary student at Long Island University CVM. I graduated from Stony Brook University with a BS in biology. I have over 7 years of pet care-taking experience, with plenty of references. I am also an avid equestrian and have a personal horse of my own. I can administer medication (oral, injectable, etc) and am not opposed to work with anxious, aggressive, or very young animals. I have a flexible schedule and will try my best to accommodate you and your pets every need. I am a non-breed discriminating, all size dog/cat/etc loving person and I look forward to taking care of your fur babies!

Amanda watches me dog for me at my house anytime I go away (which is often). He’s a large pitt and can be a lot to handle but she is the only one I trust to care for him. She goes above and beyond when taking care of him and sends me the best pictures of him! She has a lot of experience with many different types of animals and I recommend her to anyone looking for some animal care!

Amanda has been my dog walker for a few years now. She is a loving and caring companion, as well as, extremely responsible. I have never had any issue with accidents or getting off leash. She is an owner of her own dog and horse and going to school to be a vet. You couldn't ask for someone more qualified to care for your pet!

I have NO breed preferences. All I ask is that owners be upfront about any dog aggression issues, anxieties, or aggression in general. I have no issue working with dogs who have particular needs, I just need to be aware of them in order to provide a safe and happy time for each pet.
A typical day
I am a very athletic and energetic person. I love to go hiking, to dog friendly beaches, swimming, even paddle boarding. Varying pet limitations (age, health concerns, owner preferences) will determine what exactly I do with your pet but I love to keep things fun and exciting for everyone!
