home from home for your furry best friend

Pet care experience

I only take one dog at a time for daycare/boarding which ensures they receive the highest levels of care. I have grown up with dogs, and have had cocker spaniels in my family since a young age, and pride myself on providing a calm and fun environment for your best friend. I currently have two year-old cocker named Bee, who is an absolute delight and loves the company of other dogs. I have experience of looking after dogs of all ages, shapes and sizes and would be happy to discuss your needs. I am a dog fosterer and love to make them feel safe and happy. I am experienced in whistle and positive reinforcement/clicker training too, and use this approach with Bee and any foster dogs. I am happy to adopt any approaches and routines that you use with your dog. I have experience with anxious and nervous dogs. My priority is making sure your dog feels safe and has a lovely time. With bee being so active, I am out on walks at least three times a day, but I am flexible and am happy to work around your dog’s needs with walks and exercise. I also have plenty of enrichment activities and have a good sized enclosed garden they can explore I work from home full time and spend only an occasional day each month in the office. When these dates are given to me, I update my calendar as soon as possible. Walking is a hobby and you can usually find me rambling on the weekends. I live just a few meters away from lovely woodland walks with plenty of green space and trees. On weekdays, we go on 3 walks- morning, lunch and around 4-4:30pm I provide lots of enrichment and cuddles throughout the day. Your furry friend is welcome on the sofas if they prefer too. My work is usually flexible and I am able to spend lots of time with dogs throughout the day The downstairs of my house has hard floor to minimise mud and mess. There is space for dogs to have their crate (if used) and utility room if they need a quiet space on their own. I have a fully enclosed rear garden with new fencing, which I am happy to show you.

My dog has just returned from a wonderful stay with Amanda. In fact, I think he would have happily stayed! Lots of photo updates which helped to stop me worrying and will definitely be booking again. Thank you
