Pet care experience
My name is Amanda, I have had dogs from 10 lbs to upwards of 100 lbs my entire life. I've had cats, ferrets, and birds and am skilled in caring for all! I worked in a doggie daycare (Camp BowWow) as a supervisior for a year. While there, I became experienced in everything from basic dog grooming, different medical needs, as well as how to train and socialize dogs properly! I also adore cats and other small animals, since I do not currently have any I enjoy visiting with them for snuggles and just to hang out with them. I have a great deal of experience with senior dogs as well. I currently have a 13 week old White German Shepered puppy, who is housebroken! If your dogs are pet friendly, I love bringing her along for extra playtime! However, my partner can always keep her for the less than pet friendly babies!

This was the first time we have left our dog since adopting him 6 months ago and the first time using Rover.com. Amanda was absolutely amazing! She made us feel comfortable and at ease with leaving Jax for the day. She sent updates and photos though out his stay. Her rate was reasonable and description of services offered was accurate. Amanda will thrive in this roll. Her love for dogs is only exemplified by her true love of her own dog Alaska. Not only are they the hit our our local dog park but everyone in her condo complex as well. She also is very responsible and extremely good with people and dealing with all personality types. She is the type of person I would want on my team in any situation. Honest, caring and loving. Oh yeah, did I mention hard worker.

A typical day
When with me, your dog will experience as much love and activities as they want! I live on a golf course and enjoy running and walking on it with my puppy. They will also experience all of the excitement of playtime! If they are older and calmer, it is perfectly okay! I'm happy to simply give affection and curl up on the couch with them while maintaining their normal potty and food schedule.
