Pet care experience
Hello! I am on a mostly telework schedule so I have lots of flexibility during working hours most days to play and walk with your pup. Dogs (and all other animals) give me so much joy, and I would treat your pet with respect, love, and compassion. I have about five years of "official" experience dog-sitting, house-sitting, feeding, administering medicine, and walking here on Rover, as well as many more years performing dog-sitting, walking, and other pet care for friends and family. I also volunteered with a local rescue society, fostering dogs and helping them get adopted for over 5 years, and currently volunteer with Maxfund here in Denver when I can. I have one cat, Ghost, who is the sweetest and chillest kitty ever. I'm willing to care for your pet in your home, give long and short walks, light grooming, feed, water and administer medicine. I'd also be happy to do other needed tasks for no additional fee, like water plants, get the mail, etc. Every animal has their own personality, so I'd love to meet & greet with your pet to get to know them and their preferences and see how we get along! (Spoiler alert: I've never met a dog or cat I didn't like)

Amanda was amazing with our pets! She stayed at our house for several days with our dog and cat and kept them happy and safe. She communicated everything to us and made sure our animals were well taken care of. She even went out of her way to try new ways to get our cat to take her medicine while she was being fussy. When we came home our house was spotless. Thank you Amanda!
Amanda was great with our dog Pete while we were out of town. We were so impressed with her ability to take care of our dog that has some special needs since he's a rescue. He unfortunately wasn't feeling well while we were away but she took great care of him. She was able to help give him medicine and gave him special food to make him feel better. She sent us daily updates (just the right amount!) with photos so we could see him which we really appreciated. Amanda brought in our packages, tackled washing sheets, and kept the house in top shape on top of caring for our dog. We highly recommend her!
Amanda was always on time and treated my place like it was her own. She was amazing with Fin and I would recommend her to anyone needing any pet services.
It’s hard to put into words how amazing Amanda is! She is organized and reached out right away when we booked her to set up a meet and greet! She sends regular updates and listened to our ‘crazy dog parents’ notes and was responsible when caring for our dog that had recently undergone surgery. When our flight home was cancelled, she stayed an extra night and then helped us set up another individual to come care for Louie! She is friendly and quick to respond! We were able to rest easy knowing that Lou was with Amanda! Thank you thank you!

I have a small studio apartment and a cat, so any pet care will need to take place in your home. I'm happy to take your pet on regular leashed walks and to visit dog parks if that's their jam! I am also a big reader and love a little snuggle bug companion while I'm curled up with a book.

A typical day
Depending on your dog's personality and preferred activities, I'd love to take your dog to a park, swimming, or to play with other pups. I'm also happy to chill with your pet inside or make sure they get plenty of play in a more restricted environment if they have any restrictions with getting out or interacting with people or other dogs.

Availability
I work full time, mostly from home but with one day in the office. I usually have time during the day to take quick potty/play breaks when needed, but will need to save longer walks for before 7am or after 4pm.
