I am a volunteer in the Dog TLC program at the Whatcom Humane Society, and I have taken several classes on how to handle reactive dogs, understanding canine body language, and reward-based training. I am a part-time artist looking for other ways to supplement my income in order to continue following my creative passions. I have a very flexible schedule and would enjoy overnight pet-sitting. I would love to walk your dog(s)! I am very gentle and caring with animals, and from volunteering I already have experience walking a variety of dog sizes and types. When I was growing up, I helped train my recently passed Australian Shepherd, Libby, and ever since have had a soft spot for dogs. I usually let them sniff their surroundings and take their time on walks, but I also enjoy brisk walks with fewer breaks, depending on the dog's and owner's preferences. I want to be a consistent, reliable source for when you are at work or away and your dog needs attention or exercise.
