Why should someone have to choose if they are a "dog person" or a "cat person?" Why can't we just love them both? I grew up in a house with cats and got one of my own as soon as I moved out on my own. I dream of adding to the family, but really want to have a home with a backyard before committing to a pup! I work full time, so am typically only available on weekends or holidays to care for your fur baby (unless you have a kitty who is okay with just early morning and evening visits). I do everything I can to treat them as my own and want them to feel love that they almost forget that their parents are away from home. I cared for lots of dogs when I was in graduate school in Tennessee, and am hoping to continue to care for animals in my new home!
