Hi, I’m Amanda! I am a stay-at-home Mama, which means I’ll be able to give extra attention to and take excellent care of your pets! I live with my husband, Phillip, and our 3 children. Phillip is a Marine Corps Veteran and a dog lover just like me. ***Currently, we are only able to have small to medium sized breed dogs stay in our home with us.*** ***Same day bookings are case by case, I usually prefer 5-7 days notice*** Before having our children, I worked as a veterinary nurse assistant for 7 years. If you have a pet with special needs, I have you covered. I am well versed in administering not only oral, optic or otic medication, but also injections. I am very passionate when it comes to caring for dogs and cats, but especially the seniors. There is just something about an old sweet dog or cat that tugs at my heartstrings. I hope to be able to care for your pets soon!

I was so nervous about boarding my two babies, Max and Molly. I shared that with Amanda and she made extra sure she kept me up to date and sent pictures. They really seemed perfectly content and happy. Couldn’t ask for more than that for our peace of mind.. and theirs! Will definitely use again!!
Amanda was absolutely amazing. She communicated so well, and before I confirmed the booking, she reached out to make sure that Fisher and her family would be compatible. I respect that she’s truly on this app to take care of animals and help owners. She sent picture updates daily too! I’ve booked my 12-year-old dog with A LOT of different people on Rover over the years, and she has been the best. I can’t recommend her enough!
Amanda kept my terrier mix, Primrose, for a week while I was on vacation. She was very kind and made me feel comfortable leaving my sweet pup in her care. Amanda was very responsive to my texts and sent me daily picture updates so I knew how Primrose was doing. My Prim was very comfortable on her couch at pick up and was happy to see me. I recommend Amanda and will use her again in the future.
Amanda was awesome with Riley. Will definitely be using her again next time I go out of town.

We have a fenced in front yard, with an automatic gate. Your pets will be safe in our yard and ALWAYS supervised during potty breaks or outside play. We have plenty of trees to provide natural shade for times when we’re enjoying time outside. We treat our yard monthly with a pet safe, natural, and effective pest spray.

No breed preferences, we love and welcome them all, and will treat them as if they’re our own pets. We do require proof of vaccinations for all of our doggy guests, and proof that they're on a monthly dewormer. We work hard to keep our yard parasite free, and we appreciate your help in keeping it that way.
A typical day
A normal day for us and our dogs include breakfast, then some time outside (weather permitting), followed by quiet time. This cycle repeats (we love being outside). However please know, if your pet would rather lounge on the couch or on their dog bed that’s okay too! We have a glass storm door and I’ll be able to keep tabs on your sweet pup while we play outside.

Since I’m a stay-at-home Mom, I’ll be able to care for your pets just like they’re part of our family. They’ll be involved in all parts of our days - from fun romps outside, to quiet time inside while the little one naps.
