Pet care experience
I have always had pets in my life, I can not imagine it any other way. I have had everything from horses, goats, sheep, dogs, cats, chickens, chinchillas, to rats. Our animals are treated like family, as they are. I would love to meet and care for your family member while you are away, or tied up at work. For overnight and day guests, we have a front acre fully horse fenced for outside play and a large living room for lots of cuddles and lounging. We do have livestock, 4 dogs and 4 cats so guests must be friendly. My children are 8 and 9, and have been raised with our animals and are very gentle and respectful. I do require proof of current vaccines before I can have a dog enter the property. ( CIV, distemper/parvo, kennel cough, and rabies)

My German Shepherd loved staying there. He was a happy boy when I picked him up. Amanda was great, good communication. I plan on having my dog go back there on our next vacation.
Amanda and her family took such good care of our two boys! I have never left them alone this long (5 days) with someone they have never met. She sent updates and pictures everyday, and in each picture/video they looked happier than ever! I love that she lets them make themselves comfortable in her home, and let them cuddle with her in her bed, as my dogs are big cuddlers! 😂 we will absolutely book with her again for future trips! Our babies loved being cared for by Amanda, Tom, and their girls. We recommend them 100% and will definitely take our babies back.

A typical day
They can socialize with our dogs if they chose. We have lots of land to walk and play. They are also allowed to lounge around the house. The seniors prefer the master bedroom, where it’s quiet.

I work part time at a school. I’m home by 1 on weekdays and off weekends, holidays, and summer. We are home a lot, as we have livestock.
