Animal care has been my passion since I was only 2 years old. I have always been drawn to all animals and learning their behavior to help them have the best life. Zoology and vet medicine was my desired career path for my entire childhood and beyond happy I am back on track to that goal. My husband and I currently have 2 cats (both 4 years old) that we saved together as kittens. They have been madly in love with each other from day 1 and they have developed into extremely loving cats who ask for pets and play from both of us every day and snuggles from us at bed-time. We love every minute of it! In the absence of human babies, they make our lives complete and fill our house with love. I have personally cared for a vast array of pets in my life - 14 dogs, 8 cats, 3 bunnies, 2 guinea pigs, 2 gerbils, 2 hamsters, 1 mouse, 2 salamander lizards, 1 peach faced love bird, 1 cockatiel, 2 turtles, 3 chickens, and 2 rats. I have also been the go-to pet sitter for 8+ years for 8 dogs, 7 cats, 2 chickens, and taken care of a myriad of family and friend small critters over the years. I call my husband the animal whisperer. He has a sense of compassion while also exuding command and focus from animals in every interaction. Animals love it! It is incredible to watch him at work with animals and I have learned so much from him over the 10 years we have been together. Another fun note, I make unique quality custom animal furniture, fixtures and beds for pets of all shapes and sizes. I am looking to expand my portfolio with new and interesting challenges in my designs that fit items that make your pets comfortable in our unique and sometimes very small SD spaces.
