Hi pet parents! ♥️ Thank you for considering me to watch your sweet animals. I’m Amanda Joy, an international pet sitter, public health professional, yoga teacher and reiki practitioner 🌞 I absolutely adore animals and am here to love your beloved pets while you are away🐕 🐱 ✨ I’m 32 and am experienced pet sitting around the world. I’m currently on a sabbatical from my career and have just returned from teaching yoga and practicing reiki in New Zealand and Fiji. Prior to that, I spent the majority of 2021 pet sitting around the world while working remotely in public health🌴🌺✨ During my time pet sitting around the world, I spent two months living in coastal town in Panama watching three sweet and hilarious dogs - I absolutely fell in love with these dogs and miss them everyday. I’m still in touch with the family (I visited them recently). Prior to Panama, I was spoiling two adorable, high energy labs in Puerto Rico for three weeks. Before that, I lived in NYC where I completed my masters & then Washington DC where I spent seven years working at the AMA. Throughout my lifetime I’ve always been surrounded by very special animals. I grew up with a golden retriever who beat cancer and lived until she was 15. My lifelong friend has a border collie/Aussie mix that I’m a second mom to - she travels extensively for work so I’ve spent months at a time living at her house watching him and I love him like my own. My “niece,” Zoey, is a very active (and happy!) golden retriever, who I shower with love when I watch her. Recently, I spent three weeks watching a friend’s adorable golden doodle, Winnie, in Hawaii. We spent every morning and evening on long beach walks and lots of ball throws! And of course, cuddles all evening. I also regularly watch another playful golden doodle puppy Juniper—I love being Aunty Mandy to these dogs! I’m constantly surrounding myself with wonderful animals and watching my friend’s pets when they travel - I am so grateful for all of the animals in my life. I cannot wait to meet yours! ✨I also offer energy healing for animals to help them with their emotions & past traumas if that’s something you are interested in.
