Pet care experience
I've been a dog and cat lover since day 1! and I've been in Bend since 2017 minus a year in Oxford earning a Master's degree from which I've recently returned. Now, I'm working part time at Sunriver resort and applying for jobs in the conservation field. I expect I'll be in Bend throughout the winter and would love to supplement my income caring for your furry friends!

Amanda is a good friend of mine and a lover of animals. Ever since we met in middle school, we’d have sleepovers and whenever I slept over at her house, I’d be around her dog Tiber. I learned to like dogs thanks to Amanda and Tiber. She’s been such a wonderful caretaker and I’m happy to see Tiber whenever he and Amanda are in town. He’s an old dog now but very well looked after. Amanda has experience with dog sitting in Crested Butte, CO and she also has family with lots of dogs. While I consider myself a cat person, Amanda’s alpha personality and nurturing ways have helped me and dogs (in general) get along splendidly. Needless to say she’s your gal for the job.
I've known Amanda for years, and she has always had a gentle and intuitive way with all animals. She has tons of experience dog sitting for individuals as well as through a doggie day care, and can handle not just basic care but also special medical situations, physical limitations that aging dogs develop, and much more. Above all, she takes the responsibilities of animal care very seriously, while having fun getting to know each of their personalities!

I have a vehicle capable of handing the upcoming snowy season, so I can pick up dogs for walks and hikes. My housing does not allow pets so I will stay with your pet in your home for pet-sitting. Pet sitting references available upon request!

A typical day
Depending on your dogs' preferences and temperament, I can either take them to a dog park, on a hiking trail, or through your neighborhood. Love to play fetch and tug-of war.

I'm currently working part-time and I set my Rover availability around my work schedule as my shifts can last up to 12 hours and I want to be able to dedicate full days to pet care.
