Well the dogs were alive when I arrived home, but that's about the only positive thing I can say. The sitter had an unfortunate event happen to her while sitting at my house and she left for a night, which usually wouldn't be a problem, but when I walked in to my apartment she wasnt there either, she had left early and the entire place smelled of urine and as I looked around I found a pile of poop. My two dogs never go to the bathroom in the house unless they have been left alone for way too long. Another indication of this, is that my front door I scratched and they never do that kind of stuff. Very unusual. Anyway I've been scrubbing all morning, the smell is dried into the carpent and it's going to take a while for me to fully get it out. I'm afraid this was the worst housesittinng I have had, when communication was needed most she lacked, and that scares a pet parent. I must say, things were good in the beginning, but the last few days of my trip is where it all went down hill.
