Pet care experience
I have been working as a pet sitter for about 16 years now. I am more than happy to look after any kind of animal from reptile, rodent, dog, cat, fish, etc. I've had many pets (dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, turtles, etc). I've done some veterinary school, internships, and classes such as pet first aid/CPR. Availability: Sunday-Saturday any time of day. I am comfortable giving medications such as pills, liquids, and insulin shots to dogs and cats. (from prior experience). I DO NOT take puppies or dogs that need long walks anymore due to an injury. I am able to walk a dog 10-15 minutes at a time or I take older dogs that don't require walks. There will be an additional fee per visit on the following holidays: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day

I have an anxious dog that doesn't warm up to people too easily. But as soon as my dog met Amanda, she was in love, leaning against her leg and bringing her toys. I felt entirely comfortable leaving my two dogs in Amanda's care. As long as Amanda is available, I will use nobody else.
Amanda is a professional dog sitter, she took excellent care of our dogs and sent us daily updates with cute photo collages. We will definitely book with her again for our next trip, the peace of mind of knowing that our pets are happy and safe is really priceless.
My husband and I left Rosy with Amanda for 13 days. Amanda was great in taking care of our Rosy, and we didn’t expected how beautiful the room she prepared for Rosy was: she had an entire room just for herself with cat trees, different kind of beds, a water fountain, toys and a tunnels. She also had a camera to keep An eye on her and she was sending us pictures during the nighttime. I am pretty sure she was super spoiled too 😊 Amanda was sending us updates and pictures every day, she is professional, kind, and her space is sparkling clean. It’s always heartbreaking to leave our Rosy behind when we travel, but leaving her with Amanda allowed us to be more relaxed, trusting that she was in good hands :) Thank you again Amanda! We are so grateful to have found you! We will definitely reach out again 😊🙏
Amanda was great! She had an amazing cat room set up with so many toys, tunnels, and cat trees for our cat to use. Our cat is usually slow to warm up to new people. Amanda was very patient with her and respected her space. I’m so glad our cat was able to get some pets and play by the end of the stay! Our dog seemed to feel right at home and I know she loved having a backyard to hang out in. Amanda was very responsive and sent us daily updates. Very appreciative of the care she provided for our cat and dog during their stay.

I have a fenced in yard and I have safety gates I can utilize anytime and keep all doors closed. Food is kept out of reach. Lots of snuggles are given.

A typical day
I do (SHORT) dog walks for those who work during the day and can't get their dog out, pet sits where I do light house cleaning such as vacuuming/sweeping/dishes/trash, etc and general looking after the pet such as play time, walking, feeding, medicating, and potty breaks late at night. I do up to 4 pet sits for the day per client. For boarding clients there's a trail and park by where I live.

Availability
I'm a fully active pet sitter. I board and do drop in visits. I only schedule 1 dog at a time in my home, 2-3 if they're in the same family.
