Pet care experience
Hi, my name's Amanda. I graduated from the University of KY in 2020 & moved back home to the Cincinnati area where I was the foster care coordinator at a local shelter for almost 2-years before I recently left to have a better work, life balance. I now help animal rescue organizations grow while working for another amazing nonprofit here in Cincinnati! I have two furry family members of my own who are my world! I can give medicine to dogs & cats, injections, & handle animals with some behavior problems!

Amanda was wonderful - she immediately put me at ease at drop-off, sent updates throughout the day & put up with my full-of-energy puppy.
Amanda made us feel very comfortable, and took great care of our dog! We would definitely recommend her.
We were nervous about leaving our dog with someone new. Amanda took it slow with him until he felt comfortable! She clearly loves dogs and knows how to care for them like they are her own. We will definitely hire her again.
Amanda did a great job walking our puppy! She took him on a long walk, ran a bit with him, and even practiced basic commands to wear him out. She fed him lunch, changed his water and gave him a PB treat to make sure he was taken care of before leaving. Needless to say he slept like a baby after Amanda’s visit! Highly recommend!

I just always want to do my best to fit your animal’s needs & keep them happy & healthy! I've lived with dogs my entire life from a yorkie to a great pyrenees. I have been working with cats & kittens now for 2 years. Before my current job, I worked for a pet sitting company for 2 years as well. Also, I had an internship at a Humane Society before graduating. That being said- I have tons of experience & references! I will send you tons of updates & photos throughout your animal’s stay or drop in visits if requested, because I know how hard it is to leave them! I am ready to meet new fur friends & spoil them rotten!

Is your animal dog/cat/kid friendly? Any behavioral issues I should know about? Would he/she rather sleep in a crate or cuddle in the bed? Does your cat hide or like attention? I want your dog/cat to feel comfortable & to make them as happy as possible! I don't have breed, size, or age preferences. I believe every dog & cat are amazing in their own unique ways!
A typical day
We love just playing tug around the house, quick training sessions & puzzles to burn energy, running around outside in the backyard, & long walks! Of course, after worn out we can cuddle! Honestly, whatever is best for your dog & makes he/she the happiest pup! For cats, I love doing enrichment to wear them out & keep them happy (putting their wet food on licky mats for them to enjoy, hiding treats around the room, playing with toys, etc). Building a bond with each animal is very important to me, and I’m eager to learn what your kitty does/doesn’t like.

Availability
I’m also able to care for cats & can offer them a stay in their own bedroom in our home. It would be setup all for them, and they’d get lots of love, attention, fun toys, & treats during their stay. Dogs that need their own space & are crate trained (for at night) we can also accommodate!
