Pet care experience
I started pet sitting all of the neighbor’s pets around the age of 10 years old and for the last 10 years, I have been a professional dog walker and pet sitter. I have developed a following of a number of loyal clients over the years both with young and senior pets. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have a 12.5 year old Golden Retriever who is always by my side. One thing that sets me apart is I try to keep the pet owners up on how their pets are doing during the day, oftentimes sending texts and pictures.

Amanda did an amazing job staying with Herbie, our Goldendoodle! Amanda doesn't just take care of a dog's well being, she engages with the dog. She sent us daily updates, pictures and video of him. Herbie has stayed at many kennels but having Herbie stay at home for the 10 days we were out of town was truly a blessing. For one week after Amanda's departure, Herbie would stand watch by the front door waiting for her return.
We had 2 14 week old puppies and needed someone to come to our home to watch them and keep potty training them. A friend refereed Amanda to us, at our first visit we saw how caring and truly a huge dog lover she was. She accommodated our very early flight. Amanda kept us updated on the puppies with texts and photo's on how they were doing, even did some Facetime so we could see them in action. She was a large part on keeping the potty training advancing. She is very responsible and our house looked just as we had left it. She had the yard all cleaned up. We've already booked her for our next trip. We still text each other photo's of our dogs and plan on a visit to a dog park soon. I would like to know how your dog does with other dogs whether big or small. I myself have a very kind and gentle 12.5 year old Golden Retriever who keeps to himself yet enjoys the company of another dog.
A typical day
A typical day would start off with some early morning play time or walks and serious snuggles. I give a lot of attention throughout the day and more snuggles. I live close to walking trails, wooded trails and dog parks. A few other activities we enjoy are going places such as Scheels and Home Depot on days where the weather doesn't permit. We love these types of visits when we have older guests stay with us who need a little stimulation without going too fast.

My schedule is extremely flexible as I work from home with plenty of time to give attention to your pets. I have an older Golden Retriever and I take plenty of time to play with him and walk him daily.
