Welcome to my page! I'm Amanda and it's a pleasure having you read my profile. As I look forward to getting to know you and your furry family member. We will go on walks, cuddle and play. I live near city hall in Downtown Ottawa and work remotely for the time being. When I am housesitting for you I am conscious of the fact that it is your home and I am a guest acting as your conduit for your pet. I will actively keep your space, and furry family member happy and safe. I have been working remotely and am very well equipped to care for your pet while you're away. Growing up with pets and being in my 30s gives me at least 20 years of experience. Professionally I have been petsitting since 2016. Animals easily sense my positive demeanour and become comfortable very quickly. I truly enjoy providing pet parents with daily updates while their pups are looking relaxed and playful through photos and videos. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Where do I even begin? I can't thank Amanda enough! We were leaving for a multi-week long holiday, and our dog sitting option fell through at the last minute. We sent a note to Amanda a day or two before we were scheduled to leave, and she dropped everything and even made sure to make time to meet with our dog (Atlas) before we left. While we were gone, Amanda provided daily updates, photos, tracked walks, and anything/everything we would need to feel at ease while we were abroad. On top of that, she was amazing with Atlas! He's an interesting dog with sometimes unique requirements, and she completely understood anything he might need and did everything we mentioned that would make things easier for everyone. We would absolutely go with Amanda again!
Amanda is an absolute Gem! She was so quick to respond and super accommodating. She ensured she kept the covid measures. She sent so many pictures and videos. She ensured to follow our Tofus schedule. Took him in walks and gave him so much love and attention.’ She even washed him for us because he got a bit dirty. I would recommend her in a heartbeat! Amanda will soon become family to us because I will be using her services often! Thank you again Amanda! You are such a beautiful soul!
Amanda was amazing! She took such good care of Merlin, didn't mind his crazy running around at midnight and sent me frequent updates with the cutest pictures of him chilling. I'll definitely recommend Amanda to all my friends.

Availability
I believe caring for your pet in your home is preferred since a pet is usually more comfortable in its own environment. I can provide minimum 4 walks a day. I do hope your pet can be left alone for up to 4 hours maximum as I sometimes will need to leave the home for appointments, possibly going into the office, family events (especially over holidays), or groceries.
