My name is Amanda and since I was very little my life has revolved around animals. I have been running my own animal rescue for 10 years. Worked at an animal ER for 3 years working as the lead vet tech. I have a lot of experience with difficult to handle dogs including those with behavior problems and those with medical problems. You name it I've seen it all! I am not afraid to work with any animal big or small. Let me know what you need and I can do it! I am also very timely and will never keep you waiting. Since the birth of my son I decided to leave the vet field but still love to interact and help animals whenever I can!

Amanda is great with my cats. She is friendly, patient (I have one scaredy cat who hides) and loving. She takes time to brush and visit with them on her feeding visits each day. She also takes time to find the little brat cat who likes to hide away. She's an awesome cat sitter.
As always Amanda was wonderful!
Amanda watched our 3 dogs and 2 cats while my fiancé and I were traveling in TX for a few days. We are very particular with who watches our babies, as they all have their own special needs. She eased our fears and kept us updated by sending us pictures of our sweethearts. We came home to a clean house and happy pets! She also brought our trash up and picked up the mail. We will be using her in the future for sure! Thanks again Amanda!!!

I typically like to know how your pet handles interactions with strangers. If they warm up quickly with treats I will make sure to have a few in my pocket. If they prefer to be ignored at first I will do that. My goal is to put the best foot forward when entering your home so your pet feels comfortable with me.
A typical day
I will always let the animal lead when it comes to play. Some love to play fetch all day while others prefer to sit on the couch and cuddle. Whatever your pet is used to is what I will provide so they don't feel your absence.
