Pet care experience
My first instinct is to nurture and my close second, is to pay attention to the details. It is so rewarding for me to be able to provide peace-of-mind to those in need of my help. I take great pride in being reliable and trustworthy. When it comes to caring for your loved ones, I understand the importance of the small things as I have a kiddo and fur baby myself. I love becoming acquainted with new pet friends and learning all about what makes them unique. The more I know about your pet the better I can give them the best care I can. I have always had a dog and or cat in my life so, I don’t know what it’s like to not have a pet friend. I have experience raising and caring for pets at all different stages of life from puppyhood and kittenhood, to sick and needing help to survive, to undergoing surgery and helping with recovery, to separation and inherent anxiety, to diet and health maintenance. I have also completed pet training and obedience school to help in providing proper balance in discipline and training with emphasis on consistency and positive reinforcement. I have experience house sitting, caring for both the home and pets as well as experience with scheduled short visits. I would love to set up a meet and greet so we could discuss any important information about your pet!

I was impressed from our first meet & greet, where she asked thoughtful questions about my pet’s needs and my expectations about care and communication. What makes your pet friend anxious and or scared? On the opposite side of the spectrum, what makes them really happy and excited? What is their daily routine? In as much detail as possible. Feel free to include words of endearment said and or petting preference, favorite toy, etc. Are there any diet restrictions? What is the feeding and potty schedule like?
A typical day
After learning what I can initially about your loved one’s preferences for fun, I will use those preferences and mix in a little of what I like to do. Some of the things I like to include are one-on-one quality time, music time, outside time either walking or playing in the yard (weather permitting), and maybe a treat here and there for rewarding behavior. I seek to make the transition of your absence as smooth as possible so any information you think is important to know please share with me. I love exploring what’s around me so, I may check out a close by park or just check out territory around my immediate location. I love playing fetch and practicing tricks.
