Pet care experience
I've been an active participant in taking care of our family dog, Zoey, an adorable Havanese, since we got her 8 years ago. I take her for long walks in her favorite park, and play the game she loves most of all--hiding all of her toys and asking her to find them for treats. All in all, I'm great with small dogs. I love to play and run around with them, but am always aware of their physical limitations (e.g. stairs can be hard on small dogs' hips!) While I finish up grad school I don't have a full-time job, but that means extra time to help care for your fur baby. Leaving your pet with a new person can be nerve-racking, but you can rest easy knowing we have a safe loving home, ready to welcome your pooch with open arms!

I used Rover.com for the first time, having just moved to the City. I chose Amanda to watch our yorkie, Bella while we went on a short vacation. She was wonderful and Bella loved her. I would highly recommend this lovely girl to anyone. Will definitely call on her again. Thanks so much Amanda!!!
Amanda was amazing with our 2 Pugs considering that they really have not had someone stay with them before. Our youngest Pug Karma really acted out and Amanda worked with her and within a few days all was normal. She sent updates and pictures every day. We felt completely at ease with her taking care of our animals and home while we were on a much needed vacation. I would highly recommend her for taking care of your animals.
Amanda was amazing! She took such good care of our dog and he absolutely loved her. We got tons of adorable pictures and just could not have asked for a more personable and caring sitter. Highly recommend!!
Amanda has cat sat for me multiple times in my home. I don't trust most people to stay in my house while we're gone and she's one of the few! I have an elderly, very needy cat and Amanda is great with meeting her specific high maintenance needs and giving her enough attention. I swear when I come back my place literally looks better than I left it somehow. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!

I prefer small dogs (15lbs and under). I would like to know if they have any behavioral problems or special needs. Will they need medication administered? Are they on a special diet?
A typical day
We will go for walks around the block or to the park--ideally I would like to let them run around on grass rather than city pavement. If your dog is socialized I would be happy to take them to a near-by dog park. But if they're happier around people than other dogs that's okay too--I'll give them lots of attention and cuddles!
