Overall, Amanda was VERY accommodating. Our dogs are a handful with having to take medication and it seems like Amanda went above and beyond to ensure they took their meds. She mentioned that she cooked chicken to help get our dogs to take their meds. She stayed at the house so the dogs weren’t locked up for longer than a couple of hours, which I really appreciate. She was super flexible and willing to stay later than initially planned on the last day since my flight was delayed. However, my concerns were with how she left our house. I did find that one of our relatively new baking sheets was put into the dishwasher, so it’s now discolored. We had it less than 4 months. Unfortunately, there was no communication about this. In addition, I found what I think was dried up vomit on the rim of our toilet and a few spatters on our tub. I know things happen, but it would have been appreciated if she cleaned it up before she left. I didn’t mind the I cleaned kitchen since she used it to cook chicken for the dogs, but I did find a lot of sticky spots all over the counters. Almost as if a soda was spilled. Again, a simple wipe-down would have been appreciated. Again, Amada took extra care of the pups. She didn’t have to make extra chicken, but she did. We greatly appreciate it and that’s all we could have asked for. Just didn’t expect the rest as this was only the second time we’ve had a River Sitter at our house.
