I am an ER veterinary technician who loves her job (and clearly can't get enough of pets!). I can tend to healthy pets or those with special needs including pets with heart conditions, special diets, kidney diseases, arthritis, diabetes, etc. I know that you being away can be very stressful for both you and your pet, which is why I will send you updates (as many as you'd like!) and will even set up face time with your pooch! Rest assured your pet and your home will be in good hands and I will make certain you and your pet are comfortable and stress-free! I understand the needs of pets, including many exotic species and enjoy caring for them. As a veterinary paraprofessional I know that you know your pet better than anyone else, and I will follow all of your instructions for your baby while you are away to keep them happy and healthy. Pets are my life and I am just glad to provide you with a trusted caretaker for the furry members of your family.

Amanda is great and shows a lot of care for our pets. She sends photos and gives updates throughout the day which we really appreciate. She has been attentive to our dogs needs with both allergies and even medication. We will continue to use her again in the future!
She was great at communicating, flexible and helped us out in a pinch when we really needed someone to walk the pooch. Definitely recommend her and look forward to having her walk Pepper in the future!
Amanda is amazing! I can tell she loves my animals as much as I do. My Greyhound was happy to have someone to snuggle with at night. She had no trouble giving my 18 year old cat all her various meds and supplements, and my younger cat got her chemo pill right on schedule. Amanda's experience as a vet tech was invaluable in helping me feel comfortable leaving my pets, especially knowing they had someone to watch over them at night. She even checked on my chickens, and fed my fish just the right amount (I once had a pet sitter overfeed my fish, which can be dangerous). I trust her to take care of the animals as well as my house, which was left neat and clean after her stay. I highly recommend her!
Amanda has saved the day many times… there was times I needed a dog sitter last minute and without any questions asked came over and took care of my 4 dogs and two cats. Even tho cats isn’t her favorite she saved the day. My 4 dogs are rambunctious. She handled them with love and time… Amanda is a kind and understanding person with a heart bigger than I’ve seen. My 4 dogs need medications at night and she was able to dispense them to my babies on time. It was even better after finding out she is a vet tech and that put my mind at ease knowing they were being taken care of to the fullest. I wouldn’t trust anyone more than Amanda. Thank you for being a life saver and an AMAZING caregiver to the love of my life’s!! I will be sticking with her… before anyone else.

A typical day
I love to cater activities to your dog. If they enjoy fetch and walks or dog parks I will gladly take them for you or if they prefer to be a couch potato and cuddle I would be happy to meet their demands!

I work at a 24 hour ER vet so I’m always on the move! I typically work 6am-2pm Monday-Saturday but most days can accommodate your needs before or after my shifts and I can usually make Sundays work.
