*****ABOUT ME ***** I have owned and cared for dogs my whole life. I have been the proud owner of a Beagle, a German Shepherd, and most recently, a Boxer, among a few cats. Last year, I began working as a professional dog bather at a grooming salon. Since I started this position, I have interacted with dogs of all different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I have learned how to interact with them in a safe and healthy way and understand when a dog is showing signs of stress. It has been such a rewarding job and has made me want to continue working with dogs in other ways. I'm enthusiastic about animals and would love the opportunity to walk, house, or check in on yours! For dog walks and check-ins, I am available from about 10 am until about 10 pm on the days open on my calendar. I am always available via text message, phone call, or through the rover app, and can always communicate with you before, during, and after meeting with your dog(s) if you'd like! I recommend meeting up before booking to ensure your dog and I are a good fit. *****ABOUT YOUR DOG***** I want to make sure your dogs are set up for a healthy stay. With that being said, I require proof of the rabies vaccination to ensure the safety of your dog, as well as the members of my household. A hard copy, picture of the certificate, or a number of the vet that treated your dog that I can use to call and verify the vaccination would suffice. If you are uncomfortable with your dog staying in the backyard for the entirety of their visit, your dog may stay inside, but I require that all dogs staying inside be housetrained and able to show me when they need to be let out to use the restroom. If you would like me to walk your dog at all during their stay, please provide leashes and correctly fitted harnesses/collars. If we will be taking walks, please notify me of any aggression towards dogs or humans, to ensure the safety of your pet, and the safety of others. It is recommended that you provide food for your pup as well as a description of portion and serving sizes. I have a small variety of dog foods, but to ensure dog does not react negatively, it is best if food is provided. If your pup is crate trained, feel free to provide crate and I will be more than willing to accommodate. I can assist your dog with any of their additional needs such as medication, diet, etc. *****ABOUT MY HOME***** I live in a corner home on a quiet cul-de-sac with hardly any traffic. I have a fully fenced backyard with adequate running space for your pup. There is both lawn and cement and I will have beds and toys provided for playing, sleeping, and relaxing. Like previously stated above, guests will be allowed to stay inside if they are house and potty trained. I live with two other roommates that both love dogs and are very excited to have your dog stay with us.
