I love animals, and every pet that I care for becomes part of my family! Growing up, my family had at least one dog and one cat at any given time. I currently have one special needs cat and regularly walk several of my neighbors' dogs. I started volunteering at the Greater Birmingham Humane Society in 2009 and have been professionally caring for and playing with pets ever since. I helped train my dog Batman, who worked for years as a therapy animal with the animal-assisted therapy group Hand in Paw. I have experience with pets (including administering medication) as young as newborns and as old as seniors with limited mobility and visual/auditory difficulties. I am currently available full-time and have my own reliable transportation, and I am able to take pets to veterinarian appointments. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pets!
