Weekend Getaway for Dogs
Pet care experience
Hello! We are excited to welcome you for boarding services at our sweet home in the DMV area along with our pups, princess Leah Aioli and prince Milo Ren. I've taken care of pets since a very young age. From taking good care of aquariums, rescuing and managing medication for freshwater turtles with cracked shells, caring for and assisting sea turtles, recovering ill birds, playing with adorable bunnies, feeding snakes, caring for cats, to fostering guinea pigs throughout local rescues, and of course, raising our beloved dogs. In 2014, along with my parents, we rescued our then-neighbor's Pitbull-Boxer mixed girl, Sasha, from homelessness. Now, she has been a value member of our big family for 10 years. Our friends and neighbors in the DMV area have also entrusted us with their pets (mostly dogs and cats) that are more chill and older than Leah and Milo. So, we have plenty of diverse experience since 2014, specifically with dogs, and cats and other animals since decades ago. I'm looking forward to finding a couple of playmates for Leah and Milo for the weekends, or simply walk your dog if you are nearby.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether I don't have a fenced yard, I do have a dog park in my community and many other dog parks around this area that are really safe and provide the dogs their essentials (water and shade, mainly). If your dog needs a crate, I will be happy to provide one, or you can bring yours. I will only allow your dog to interact with other dogs as long as you authorize me too, and every activity in the day, I will notify you via Rover.

Information Amanda C. would like to know about your pet
I will make sure you are notified of your pet's daily activities with us as we navigate our days together. From dog walks, grooming needs, and training to plenty of outdoor activities in safe environments, I can accommodate any request about your pet's usual schedule.
A typical day
If permitted by you as pet parent, I will take your dog for a quick hiking break in easy trails around the Springfield area in the mornings and evenings. Usually, I take our dogs to the dog park in the late-afternoon or early evening to have at least an hour of playtime with other dogs, human socializing, and training.
