Pet care experience
I've always had animals around me, from the time I was a child with my family owning dogs, cats, a horse, rodents, and so on. Now with my own children and one dog, two cats, a hamster, a small snake, and three ducks. I've dog sat for my family members multiple times and always provide them with the best care possible.

Amanda is fabulous with my dog, Apollo! She's patient, gentle, and willing to go the extra mile to keep your dog happy and safe. I know it's scary to put your furbaby in someone else's hands, even for an hour or two, but I trust Amanda 100%!! And you can too!!!

I have an older dog who is friendly with most other dogs she meets. I also have three kids who love animals and would love to give them extra loves, cuddles, and play time. We have a decent sized fenced backyard and live only three blocks from a public lake with a great walking trail.

Before meeting, I would love to know how your dog does around other animals and people, including children, and how they respond to things like loud noises or bad weather (so I can more prepared before our walk).
A typical day
I live in a fantastic area for dogs. I'm only 3 blocks from a small lake with a 3.5 mile walking trail, and I am only about 10 minutes from a local dog park and several other walking trails. Our dog at home, Sophie, loves playing tug of war and all of my kids and I get into it with her. I am always down for a game of tug of war, fetch, keep away, and so on.

Availability
I own my own business and work mostly from my home, so my schedule is very flexible. My husbands schedule changes each month, but I know well ahead of time what it will look like so I can work around it.
