My background with dogs began at the Little Shelter Animal Adoption Center in Huntington, NY in 2008. I was employed there as a dog walker and socializer, working with a wide variety of dogs and puppies from many different walks of life. All of the dogs were rescues, and so special care needed to be provided, with exercise, playtime, feeding, and even medication distribution. I then moved on to working at several different grooming parlors in my local area, which calls for much patience and care. As you've probably experienced, most dogs do not love being bathed and groomed, and so I would try my very best to make them comfortable in the unfamiliar situation they were in, taking the time to check in on them frequently. In January of 2015 I had my first two-month long house and pet sitting job. However, since then I've been working a full time office job and have been unable to enjoy any time with canine companions. I would love to be able to provide a service in which your dog is comfortable while you're out on the weekends, working late, or away on vacation!
