Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs and other animals since I was 15, when I was 16 I started up my own business walking dogs. I am free to provide the same care and love I offer to my own pets. I spent some time studying animal science and have medical experience with animals. I also worked in the veterinary field and have been a vet tech for 10years! I currently work in a veterinary hospital part time and In the past I managed a pet resort. I have experience with behavioral dogs, young and old dogs, all sorts of cats, administering medication and helping with pets with injuries. I am comfortable helping to give the same love and offer the same care that you do! In my home animals rule and the creature comforts are all available. With me you know your dog, cat or small critter will be safe, secure, loved and well taken care of!

Amanda was a fantastic house sitter for Cheyenne! She went above and beyond, kept us updated with texts and pictures, and it was clear that Cheyenne had a great time with her. We are so fortunate to have connected with Amanda, and we are looking forward to having her watch Cheyenne again in the future!
Amanda was wonderful with our cats while we were out of the country. One of our boys is very nervous and usually doesn’t like strangers but he warmed right up to her. She kept us updated about them every day and was always prompt. We will definitely be booking with Amanda again.

I use leashes and harnesses that are supplied or happy to supply my own. I care for pets same as the owners do so that they feel most at home! I also have two very friendly and playful pups for anyone who’s dog may need a buddy!

Let me know if any special needs, dietary restrictions, behavioral needs or requests. I have a history of working with pets that have special medical needs and behavioral needs and happy to follow detailed instructions and requests! I do prefer a meet and great beforehand to make sure we are all a good fit too!
A typical day
Walks and hikes, play with other dogs if they are dog friendly, car rides or dog parks if energy is needed to be exerted. I have knowledge of all local dog parks, behavioral knowledge as well to make pets feel most at ease. Or if your pet is a very lax and low key pet I am happy just keeping them company and giving them all my attention.

I am Free all day to help with your pets needs. My work/school schedule allows for me to have an open availability! I am happy to do any sort of day or overnight stay.
