Since both my husband and I are usually home, we have plenty of flexibility to love on your precious pets. We are available for plenty of potty breaks and belly rubs! Please let us know their typical routines and if they have any issues with accidents inside. Our goal is to devote as much attention and care as possible to your pets when they are under our care.

Our house is on half an acre, and we have a large and shaded fenced-in backyard. We have it treated routinely for pests including fleas and ticks, so that should never be a concern. It will be your pet’s favorite home away from home!! Our neighborhood is nice and safe to walk around, and we will happily take your pets on strolls throughout the day. You can relax and rest assured that we will love your pets as if they are our own! We use Rover ourselves, and we understand what pet owners need and want from their sitters. We will provide ample pictures, videos, and updates! Please feel free to look at our posted pictures to see all of the fun and peace pets experience under our care. Update: we sadly had to say goodbye to our beloved dog in Dec 2025, after she fought a hard battle with cancer. We miss her tremendously, and taking care of other furry friends helps to fill that hole in our heart. We have no other pets and do not have any children, so your pet(s) will have our full undivided attention.

Please let me know about your pet's personality and preferences, so I can uniquely cater to them. What are their typical behaviors like? Are they up-to-date on flea/tick/heartworm treatments as well as vaccines? Do they have any special needs? Any particular likes or dislikes? Are they fully house trained? Where do they prefer to sleep at night? Do they typically sleep throughout the night? Etc. Being upfront and honest about your pets will help to ensure we can provide the best possible care. Please let us know if your pet has had previous issues with other animals (or people) before.
A typical day
At our house, your pet will experience both love and activity! There will be plenty of belly rubs, treats, and play! Our backyard is a dog's dream...there is a ton of room to roam and explore with several animal friends (chipmunks, squirrel, deer, etc) who may make an appearance. We love going on walks throughout our neighborhood, where it is safe with little traffic. Please let us know what your pet prefers, and we can accommodate. We do occasionally allow pets on the furniture for cuddles, as long as it is covered first.

Welcome, and thank you for considering us for your pet-sitting needs! If you are looking for personalized and attentive love and care for your pets, look no further! My husband and I both work from home, and we only accept one booking at a time (which can be a rarity on Rover). We are available to provide around the clock care! In providing individualized services, we sincerely hope this makes you and your pets feel special and secure during their stay with us. We pride ourselves on being responsive (usually reply within minutes), professional, and accommodating. We offer meet & greets prior to booking, so you can feel confident that we are the best fit for you. We guarantee you will receive plenty of pictures and updates, so that you can rest assured that your pets are in good hands. We want you to be as relaxed as possible, knowing that your pets are well taken care of under our care! We have loved and taken care of many pets throughout our lives, and I am also a PA-C with extensive medical training. We are use to handling many dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I also have experience with cats. Something else that differentiates us from other Rover sitters is that we have both of our names (Amanda & Benjamin) listed on our profile. This means Rover completed their thorough background checks on us both, so you can be extra comfortable with knowing who is with your beloved pets.

Absolutely the best dog sitter ever. Bagel loved there yard and they made her so comfy in their home. They sent lots of pictures and videos throughout the day. What a joy to have found them.
We were in need of someone last minute to check on our boys while we were away visiting family during Christmas. Amanda and Benjamin were so sweet, and our boys loved them! They sent a lot of pictures and updates, and we felt at ease knowing our boys were in good hands while we focused on family time.

Benjamin and Amanda are the best! They take such great care of our two dogs and send frequent updates. We never have to worry about the safety or comfort of our dogs when we are out of town, as they take care of our dogs like family. Thank you!!!
