Pet care experience
My family has had many dogs my whole life, and I just got my first dog of my own about a year and a half ago. I’m a huge animal-lover and now that I have my own dog, my love has only grown stronger! I would love to be a comfortable, fun place for your dog to stay while you’re away. We live in West Somerville near the community path, so we always take lots of walks and explore. We also have a good sized back yard (not fenced in) for potty breaks. I work from home so I will be home all day long! My fiancé also usually works from home so there will be no shortage of love and attention 💕 We would love to be a home away from home for your pup!!

Amanda is an honest, trustworthy person that loves animals! She has taken great care of my 3 dogs. Two of them are rescue dogs with behavior issues, and she has been compassionate and patient with them. Your dogs would be in good hands with Amanda!

We have a good sized back yard but it is not fenced in. Dogs will always be on leash while in the backyard for potty breaks! We don’t usually crate our dog Sage while at home, but you are more than welcome to bring a crate if you would like your pup to be crated. I want to adhere to your schedule and routine with your dog as much as possible to make their experience very comfortable.

If your dog has ever shown any aggression towards people or other dogs, I ask that you please be upfront and honest about this so we can ensure your dogs stay is a safe experience for all involved. Sage has never ever shown any aggression towards other dogs.
A typical day
We love to play tug, do mentally-stimulating puzzle toys with treats, take plenty of walks, and explore all of the smells outside. Sage will want to play with your pup all day long!!

I am self-employed and work from home, so my schedule is very flexible! There is plenty of time to take walks throughout the day, play, and have frequent potty breaks.
