Where dogs stay and play, like home

Pet care experience

What sets me apart is my dual expertise in professional dog training and quality boarding care. While most sitters focus solely on keeping your dog safe and fed, I create structured play groups and prioritize safe, supervised interactions. Your pup gets proper socialization with compatible dogs in a controlled environment, plus the security of someone who truly understands canine behavior and body language. I'm a certified trainer with 20 years of experience, so I understand dog behavior and can address issues like separation anxiety, leash pulling, or basic obedience during their stay. Whether it's reinforcing house training, working on "sit" and "stay," or helping with socialization, every day includes structured learning alongside plenty of play and affection. My home environment is designed with dogs in mind – secure, comfortable spaces where they can relax and learn. I maintain detailed notes on each dog's progress and provide updates to owners, so you'll know exactly how your pup is doing and what we've been working on. The result? You get exceptional boarding care with the option to add professional training services. It's the convenience of having both services available from one trusted, experienced provider who truly understands your dog's needs.

We just got a 6 month old pup, and one thing about our area is we lack reputable dog trainers, and doggy daycares. I stumbled upon this place accidentally last night. Our 6 month old pup just completed her first day of doggy daycare! This is EXACTLY what Columbia needs! Our pup was on 20 acres supervised running having the BEST time ever instead of being crate trained at home alone (lol). I’m opting for this option with her 3/6 days I work! Amanda just moved to this area ,and is getting her name out there! I strongly encourage you to check into Stay and Play Academy. Our hyper pup is taking a good nap, and is much happier today than I have ever seen her at night! If your pup needs a few days away from home while you work, or whatever situation check her out! Poppie LOVES her (and cried when i drove her away 🙈) ! 🤩🤩

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is my top priority, and my setup reflects that commitment. I'm fortunate to have 20 fully fenced acres where dogs can safely explore, run, and play with plenty of space to roam. Whether we're inside or outside, dogs are always under my direct supervision – I never leave them unattended in open areas. If I need to leave the home, each dog is safely secured in their own individual crate or kennel. This isn't just for security – it also gives anxious dogs a calm, quiet space and prevents any potential conflicts between pets. I have security cameras monitoring the kennel room, so I can check on everyone remotely and ensure they're comfortable while I'm away. No dog is ever left loose and unattended, giving you complete peace of mind about their safety and wellbeing.

Information Amanda B. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know about your dog's personality and any special needs so I can provide the best possible care! Share details about their favorite activities, any anxieties, medical needs, or behavioral quirks that help me understand them better. For overnight boarding, dogs should be comfortable spending time in a crate as this ensures everyone's safety and gives each pup their own secure space to rest. Currently, I'm only able to accommodate dogs who enjoy socializing with other dogs. Your dog doesn't need to be friends with everyone – many dogs are selective about their playmates, and that's perfectly normal! However, for the safety and comfort of all our guests, I can't accept dogs who show aggressive behavior toward other dogs. If you're unsure about your dog's social preferences, I'm happy to discuss their personality and help determine if we're the right fit for their boarding needs.

A typical day

A typical day starts with morning walks and exploring our 20-acre property – dogs love discovering new trails, sniffing interesting scents, and getting real exercise in wide-open spaces. The large property means they get both physical activity and mental stimulation from exploring new sights and smells in a completely safe, contained environment. After breakfast, we have quiet rest time – a few hours of nap time to let food settle before afternoon fun begins. Then it's time for structured play groups for social dogs and individual training time. High-energy pups get extra adventures, while others can enjoy quieter exploration and relaxation. Every dog gets personalized care based on their unique personality and energy level – whether that's agility-style play using natural obstacles, swimming (weather permitting), or simply relaxing in shaded spots with gentle attention and affection.

These prices are for one dog. A booking fee of 11% and taxes will apply.
