Pet care experience
I'm a self-proclaimed pupaholic and mom to two rescues - a 7 year-old Miniature Pinscher (girl) mix and a 3 year old Beagle mix (boy). My Min Pin is from an abusive situation and terrified of people but she loves dogs. Depending on your preference, if sitting your pet(s) in my home, my pups can stay with Grammy (my mom). Or they can stay with your pet. You can let me know what is most comfortable for you. Typically, I like to introduce new dogs to my two dogs on neutral territory to gauge their reactivity and go from there. I absolutely LOVE all animals. When you have pups, it is hard to have a bad day. Over the years, I have learned so much about pet care and pet behavior. I have experience with senior, rescue, and special needs dogs. Like people, each dog has its own personality and is special. I have a fenced yard and enjoy letting the dogs be dogs! I work full-time but can be flexible. Additionally, my mother just recently retired and visits often - sitting with my pups in the event that I cannot be there. I welcome the opportunity to care for your pet! I cannot give enough praise to Amanda for the loving care she gave our little furbaby Pasha. While we travelled out of the country for 3 weeks we knew that he was well taken care of. She will be our "go to" person from now on!
My little old man, Norman has been staying with Amanda for awhile now. Over the last few months Norman has developed serious health problems. Amanda has diligently taken on his tedious care without ever complaining. She even made a chart of his medicine delivery schedule and cleaned his dirty ears! Amanda is a sweet, honest person and communicates everyday during Norman’s stay.
Amazing care of our energetic dog! Very clear communicator and sends lots of updates. Dependable, organized, and kind. Will definitely always check with Amanda first to watch our dog!

During that time, I will talk to you about your practices at home with your pup(s). My goal is for their stay to be as stress-free as possible (for you and them).

I'd like to know everything unique to your pup! Other things I find important in learning about your pets: - Would you like them to be with my dogs during their stay? Or do you prefer that they be alone? - Is your dog accustomed to using a crate/kennel? I do not use them for my pets but if your pet is conditioned to use one, I think that is important to keep the continuity. - Does your dog take medications regularly? - Can your dog be left alone for 2 to 3 hours during the day? - Who is your veterinarian? - Are there other things that you are concerned about while you are away?
A typical day
My neighborhood is perfect for dog walking and the puppies like to go for rides in the car through Tanglewood in the afternoon/evenings. At my house, we celebrate puppy birthdays and other holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. In the summer, I like to get out the kiddie pool and sprinkler for the puppies to run through to cool off.

I am working full-time and most of the time in the office. I can be flexible, if needed. With my mom recently retiring, when I am not home, she will come over to hang out with the pups.
