Hello! My name is Amanda, and although I work as a Registered Nurse caring for humans; caring for pets is what I’m truly passionate about. I grew up on a (sort of) farm and know how to care for a wide variety of animals. I currently have a 7 year old Corgi, a 10 year old cat, and recently adopted my first bunny! I also have a lot of experience caring for senior and ill animals and am comfortable giving a variety of medications/treatments. Pets are family, and with me they’ll be in good hands!

We just got back from having Amanda stay with our dogs for the first time and I can’t say enough about her. We were afraid to use an app for our house and pet sitting needs, but the people who we kept getting referred to were very unreliable so we took a leap of faith. From the very first contact with Amanda, I knew she was on top of it. She responded very quickly to that first text and every other text after that. She was also super professional and very nice. She came to our house to meet our dogs and had questions prepared and was really engaged in the process. During our night away we received texts and pictures of the dogs, and little notes about what our fur babies were up to. She even noticed a sore on one of my dog’s legs and asked if she could apply something for it. ❤️All of her contact made us feel so comfortable and secure, and like my babies and our home were being so well taken care of. I highly recommend Amanda!!

A typical day
Walks, fetch, tug-of-war, local dog park visits (with owner approval, of course) and any other pet activities your dog would enjoy. For feline friends—toys, pets, and/or keeping a cat approved distance, if that’s what they prefer.

Availability
I am available most weekends and holidays. During the week I am usually available before 7:30am and/or after 4:30pm. I am available almost everyday/anytime during the summers (mid June-early August).
