Hi, I’m Amanda! I’ve owned dogs my entire life (from small to giant) and have 5+ years of veterinary work experience at an emergency animal hospital and general practice vet hospital. Comfort and safety of the pets in our care is a priority! I have years of experience pet sitting for a variety of breeds and ages... large and small, young and old. I’m willing and able to customize my care plan for any animal staying with us to their individual needs. I’d love an opportunity to meet with your furry friend and make their time away from you as fun and comfortable as possible!

Our puppies had fun. They came home happy and tired!
Amanda is very sweet and responsive. She sent me videos and pictures of our dog. Her dog, Ducky and our dog, Coco got along good and played with each other the entire stay. I would definitely love to have her to take care of our Coco for our next trip.
Amanda and her partner were great sitters. She updated me more than I expected or felt she needed to by sending me updates and pictures or videos each morning and each evening. My dog and her dog Ducky got along great and played everyday. Her house is clean and spacious and I felt no issues about leaving my dog in their environment. She gave my dog the love and affection he craves and needed while he was away from me for 5 days. I would definitely recommend her and use her again in the future if needed.
Amanda was great with our Bichon. She was so much help to us as we were scrambling looking for a sitter. She responded immediately! We will definitely be using her again :)

I have 2 friendly dogs (one senior and one puppy), a gated off pool, and a fenced in yard. I have dog crates and baby gates to isolate off portions of the house. I also have an automatic water dispenser and can adjust easily as needed for pets in my care.

Is your dog potty trained? Does your dog like to chew on anything (walls, furniture, shoes etc)? Is your dog fully vaccinated? (Will need to provide proof before drop off, must be up to date on Rabies, DHPP and kennel cough). Does your dog get along with other dogs?
A typical day
We have a beautiful community with quiet streets for walks. In addition, we have lots of doggy toys for playing and a pool for swimming (if the parents say it’s okay).

Availability
My pets are sometimes alone from 8-4 on days no one is working from home. On days we work from home the time alone is much shorter. I have crates, baby gates, a fenced in yard. Safety is my number one priority. So while my pups get to rest up while I’m away, I’m busy thinking about what fun activities we’ll do once I’m home. I have toys, enrichment games, parks, and so much more!
