Loving Care When You're Not There

Pet care experience

TEMPORARILY NOT TAKING CLIENTS. I'm sorry guys I am going through some health issues and am temporarily unable to take clients for the time being. There is no way to temporarily deactivate my account. I'm willing to go to my utmost for the satisfaction of you and your pet. I have experience with abused and abandoned animals as I worked at a rescue stable and multiple rescue facilities: my job primarily being to work with and love on the animals until they are mentally stable enough to find new homes. I'm a very careful, loving and responsible person and i understand the doggy body language better then English some days. I have had many jobs caring for pups. In fact dog care was my first job when I was 10. I am available most of the time as a stay at home fiance and happy to care for your pets as if they were my own. I will pay attention to any details you give me and carry them out. All my life I have had experience with many types of animals and I have always had a dog. I have worked or volunteered at stables/shelters/humane societies/paws4life/ and many other animal oriented jobs. I cared for an elderly neighbor's dogs and horses free of charge for months when she had a back injury. My passion and love for every pet's soul drives me to do whatever it takes for them to love me as I love them. This job and I are the perfect match and am waiting eagerly to hear from you on how I can help care for your pets. I am also open to caring for cats and any other more exotic animals. My fiance went to the K9 Training academy in the military and i am working on online school to become a civilian trainer. We have a dog who is in training to become a therapy dog who is VERY friendly and gentle to other dogs and loves to have a playmate, and two cats who have grown up with dogs and other cats their entire lives. The cats will stay in their cat room while any new dogs are here just for their safety. Some ground rules however. I do not usually take last minute requests unless it is an emergency. I do not pick up and drop off, you must be able to come onto fort knox and either have a pass or ask them to give you a visitor's pass(it takes about 15 minutes at most and you must not have any felonies on your record to get in) Visitor's Passes last 1 year so you will not have to do it again. I live in the USA's ultimate safe private gated community with its own armed guards and police force, ; ) and have a huge wooded backyard to take your dogs on hikes with me and mine, as well as a 1 acre dog park on base, safe sidewalks and pretty trails. If it is on the weekend we usually go to Saunders Springs Nature Reserve for a picnic and easy scenic trail walk in the gorgeous streamsn ponds and mountains there. Whether you need someone to be there for your pup for just one day or night or you need someone to care for them for weeks, your pet will not be lonely or bored here!

Amanda was very kind and calm with my boisterous 80lb puppy. She is reliable, flexible and knows how to take care of most animals as she has had them all, from equines to reptiles to more common pets: cats and dogs. Just talking to her I knew she was the one for me. Definitely would recommend. Great experience!

I will absolutely be using her services again. My pups had the pleasure of having her house sit and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. She was kind, calming, flexible, prompt, and most of all flexible in her services. Which made our trip easier having the piece of mind that our fur babies were in capable and responsible hands.

I live on a tiny one lane road away from any vehicle danger. I have a fully fenced half acre yard with a well built 25 square foot doghouse with a sheltered 5x5 space on cool concrete to lay underneath. I have well trained and friendly dogs here with a defined pack structure. Every dog that leaves my care generally comes out better socialized and sometimes better trained too!

Information Amanda B. would like to know about your pet

I would most definitely like to have a meet and greet at my home to make sure we get along. I would like to know any personality quirks that will help me make your pet's time with me as comfortable and fun as possible. Also any special needs or care is a must know for me to keep your loved one safe.

A typical day

I love to take your dog on a walk in the park or in the woods! If it is bad weather we can play games in our 1200sf home. I carry treats with me for good behavior as well. I like to research the area and find fun nature trails to fit both me and your pet and give them some excitement.
