I've had dogs (and cats!) all my life. I started taking responsibility for the family pets at a very young age and I have had many different species and breeds of pets over the years. I have petsit and dog-walked for friends and neighbors and have proven dedication, patience and compassion toward animals. One dog I've cared for is extremely challenging- he is extremely protective and loyal of his owner and doesn't get along well with other people or animals, but with a lot of patience, training (and treats!), I got him to trust me and was able to walk him without a problem. I'm reliable and responsible and care for all animals as if they were my own. I currently have 2 cats and 1 dog (mixed breed rescue from Mexico), and volunteer with Baja Dog Rescue in La Gloria Mexico, and with other animal shelters and rescue organizations. I have been a vegetarian/vegan for over 16 years because I love and respect all animals.
