Hi there, I'm Amanda, a lifelong animal lover with a passion for making furry, scaly, and feathery friends feel right at home. I've been a proud doggie, feline, and reptile owner for most of my life and have a heart full of love for all creatures great and small. After saying goodbye to my beloved 16-year-old pup, I've decided to take a break from being a pet owner and am now on a mission to spread joy and comfort to other people's pets as a pet sitter. I'm currently on a quest to find the perfect career and home to welcome a new fur baby family into my life, but until then, I'll be busy doting on every animal I meet and making sure every pet feels like royalty.

When caring for pets, I always make sure to follow their owner's rules and routines to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for both the pet and the owner. Currently, I am unable to invite pets into my own home, but I am more than happy to provide in-home pet care at my client's homes. During these visits, I bring lots of love and positive energy to brighten up the pet's day. Depending on the pet and the owner's needs, my services may include feeding, walking, playing, and providing plenty of affection and attention. My goal is to create a warm and nurturing environment for the pets in my care and to make sure they feel loved and comfortable.

A typical day
As a pet sitter, I am always happy to provide plenty of exercise and fun activities for the dogs in my care. Depending on the owner's rules and restrictions, I am happy to take dogs on walks or runs around the yard, neighborhood, or nearby dog-friendly trails. I believe that getting exercise and fresh air is important for dogs' physical and mental well-being, and I love the opportunity to bond with them during these adventures. If the owner allows and the dog is well-behaved in public spaces, I am also happy to bring them to a doggy beach or fenced park for a change of scenery and some extra fun. My goal is to make every day a fun and memorable experience for the dogs in my care.

Pet care has always been a big part of my daily routine. Before the pandemic, I had regular fur clients and was building a small pet-sitting business. With the extra time I now have, I'm excited to spend even more time with animals, taking care of their needs and providing them with love and attention. Whether it's walking dogs, feeding cats, or playing with reptiles, I’m ready once more to make pet care an integral part of my routine.
