Pet care experience
I've had the privilege of caring for animals for a few years now. I'm a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) who has 13 years of professional experience in the veterinary field. I started my professional experience in high school by volunteering at my local veterinary clinic, then proceeded to pursue a career in the field. I graduated with my associate degree in applied sciences and became an LVT. Before I watch a pet, I like to meet the owner and pet(s) in their natural setting. Get acquainted with the home and go over my sitting form agreement. When I dog sit, I stay in the owners home, provide professional care for their pet(s), take in their mail, take out their garbage, send them pictures and text updates on their pet(s), etc. I provide my own food and request that the location of where I am pet sitting be within 25 minutes from my place of employment. Amanda was great for our dog and cat!
Amanda dog sat for us in the past. As a vet tech, she brings the extra skill and knowledge to give our dog her slurry of medicine with a injector into her mouth. Amanda brought her dog along too so our dog and our daughter's dog, who was here from PA, could all play together. They did great. She sent pictures and updates on how everyone was doing. Amanda was recommended to me two years ago. We travel a lot and Amanda quickly became our primary dog sitter. Knowing she's a licensed vet tech puts my mind at ease when she's caring for my pups. Plus, she's wonderful with my dogs. They love it when she comes to take care of them. She provides them with lots of love and exercise so we never worry when we're away from home.

A typical day
I like to stay active outdoors, especially in the spring and summer. I will make sure your pet(s) is exercised properly. Swimming is a wonderful way to burn off your pets energy and it is great for older pets joints, as a hydrotherapy. As for the winter months, I will take your pet(s) for walks in near by trails or parks, weather permitting.

I am currently working full-time with weekend availabilities. I work a weekly schedule from Tuesday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays. I stay at your home taking care of your four legged loved one(s) making sure they get the cuddles, love, and the play they deserve! ❤️
