Lots of love, time, & care to give!

Pet care experience

A very happy Hello to you & your favorite human(s) 》(That's the one(s) you love best-The hoo'man(s) who loves you very, very, much, but still won't let you eat dirt, roll in stinky things, or share their tasty smelling chocolate!)《 I'm so excited to meet you too, & ready to have lots of fun! Let's start off by giving your owner a bit of information about me, so they feel safe & happy while you're hanging out with me. so sit tight please, while I talk to your hoo'man(s) for a bit. Alrightly then, time for human stuff, coffee, small talk about weather, & other such things. let me first thank you! I appreciate your curiosity and consideration of yours truly for Rover lass of the year. Oh, or for a potential meet & greet where your pup(s) & I become best friends & seek your permission for slumber parties. Sillyness aside, I do understand how much trust and responsibility goes with family care. I do mean FAMILY care. As caring for a pet(s) is just as important as caring for non'furry members. I am grateful & honored to help care for someone so very precious. I am also happy to make a new friend, or see an old one again! I promise to make their stay feel like they're on vacation with family, because that's the way it ought to be. Making happy memories, then taking that love & joy right back home to share. That is, if they want to go home (pups have insisted that y'all are moving in now lol) Can't be helped though, I fall head over heels for animals, always have, & it tends to be mutual. If you can't already tell, I do this because I'm passionate about pets, & thus great care. ensuring they have a safe, loving, nurturing place to stay while folks travel feels like me doing my little bit for the community. As well as putting food on my table. It feels good. Oh! My name is Amanda, by the way, maybe should have started with that. My apologies 😊 Here is a bit about me: I have always been around, and played with, animals of all shapes & sizes. My first word was, "kitty." I've had a special affinity with little critters since i was a little girl, exploring neighborhoods for strays, or running thru the tall grassy hills, with my faithful pack of farm doggies, and all over Grandma & Grandpa Jenson's Acreage. I've spent many sunny days of my youth around the farm. Always being sure to stop, climb up the big metal gate leading to prairie and pet the horses. Any time they were in the front pasture, my tiny self was up that gate, This was very important! Because that's how you get to be tall enough to snuggle the horses, & they were always wanting me to come nuzzle their snoots, pet them softly, or follow them to the "Fish Tank" For a brush while they drank out the goldfish pond. (We had a huge galvanized metal tank with water grass & assorted goldfish) Thought all ponies had these lol Gosh, now I'm nostalgic, but let's move along to future things, like playing with your pup(s) Currently though, I split my time between The Bay Area, & the midwest. Most days you can find reading a book at home, or at a friend's BBQ or Game night. In all scenarios I'm on the floor getting pupper kisses and spoiling pets rotten with affection and attention. I am the cool Auntie. The bestest ear scratcher, & belly rubber. Or you may have even met me at a Farmer's market, as my hands will never be too full to stop and pet a doggo! (I will set my coffee down! Haha) I simply light up anytime i see a dog or puppy! I know the feelings must be mutual because I tend to get lots of snoot boops and snuggles from random dogs on the street. In addition to heart, i have smarts too. I will keep your loved pet safe and cared for. a note on dog breeds. I am quite familiar with German Shepard, golden retriever, corgis, doberman, rottweiler, pitbulls, and merry mutts. My Grandparents ethically bred labradors, golden and black, for years. My dear cousin, Cassie, shares a great deal of her vet tech knowledge with me as well, so you'll be in good hands. I take proper care very serious, and i find its best given with warm smiles and generous affection. Very truly, i will love your pet, because i don't know any other way to be. They will be excited to have lots of safe, healthy fun with me, and the feeling is mutual! Plus, I'm happy to share that 3% of my profits are donated to helping animals in need through Rover's "Sit a Dog, Save a Life" program. I hope this helped you, and if you have any questions at all, please reach out. I'm happy to help put your mind at ease. Thank you again for taking time to read this, getting to know who I am, & why I'm the best choice for compassionate, nurturing, experienced & fun care. Thank you for considering me for such an important job, I appreciate your time & understand this is a very important decision. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) in person! Ps. Let me know what you like with tea or coffee, so I can bake a treat ahead of time for us to enjoy If you'd like ☕????

Amanda always takes great care of our fur baby Baylee. We got married on Saturday and decided that due to her anxiety and high energy it wouldn't be the best place for her to be with us with all the people, loud noises, and chaos happening. It was a tough decision but we knew she would be happier and get the best care here. Which indeed happened. It allowed us to enjoy knowing that she was in great hands, safe and happy.

Our pup loves staying with Amanda! We recently left Mia with Amanda for a longer vacation—by far the longest we’ve been away from Mia ever, but have never felt anxious about how she might be doing while we’re gone. Mia always comes home tired from all the attention and play she gets from Amanda.

Amanda was an amazing sitter for my 10-year-old weimaraner, Zoey. Amanda's love for dogs is evident - I routinely got photo updates, on an almost daily basis. I would absolutely trust Amanda with the care of my dog for any future visits. She's awesome.

Our yard is large with fencing all around, & the fencing along the back is very tall, so no jumping over there to 132nd. We also have a pollinator friendly yard & garden. So no pesticides used. Safe for Bees, Butterflies, & pups. I do also keep any plants that could be toxin if ingested by doggos out of the backyard, & kept fenced in the front yard. Of the plants I have, should a neighborhood dog get curious of the front yard, toxicity is low, so some tummy upsets but not enough growing for concern. Safe stray pups too. In the warm weather, we keep a dog pool outside, & I put ice cubes in our multiple water bowls. When it is cold, I like to mix in warm liquids (Bone Broth or hot water, depends on pups diet, etc) with dry food for happy cozy pups. I do end up putting a good chunk of what I make right back into spoiling pups with all manner of toys, treats, & wellness odds N ends. Their worth it 💕

Information Amanda B. would like to know about your pet

What activities does your pet enjoy? Do they get along with other dogs should we go on a walk? Are there any noises or activities that frighten your pet? Any allergies? Ultimately, how best can i meet the needs of you and your pet?

A typical day

I have a large yard for running and playing, as well as parks nearby. Toys from home are welcome, and i will do my best at tug of rope. If your pet is more laid back, cuddles are available and belly rubs too. The important thing to remember is your pet is a priority, and I am fully invested in providing proper care for your specific furry friend(s)
