Pet care experience
I've lived in a house full of cats and dogs since I was born. I created my own dog walking business when I was young and got a job at the local vet. Many of my family animals have had health issues, so I am very skilled in delivering a variety of medicines and sticking to specific care routines. My house is at capacity with three cats and two dogs, so I don't have room to board animals, but I'd be happy to house sit. I run my own business from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I can easily work remotely while house sitting, so your animals will get extra company. When you animal is with me, they will be treated as my own. They'll have 100% of my love and attention.

Amanda was great! She spent an hour with us at the Meet and Greet, getting to know our dog and cat, and our house and yard. She immediately connected and was comfortable with our exuberant, 53lb lab, playing, petting and walking. Although our cat predictably hid the minute she arrived, Amanda assured us that she had many years' experience with cats. She listened attentively to my endless descriptions and instructions, and asked good questions. She was very willing to water my flowers and vegetables/herbs, to take in the newspapers and get the mail. She texted daily updates and pictures, and quickly answered any questions I asked. When our return flight was cancelled, she was flexible, as I knew she would be. I recommend her without reservation.

Amanda was amazing! She accommodated my last minute booking and truly took care of my pup as if he were her own. My dog has some extra needs due to a medical condition and Amanda was not phased by this at all. I was very confident and comfortable knowing she was caring for my baby while I was gone!

Knowing a dog's personality is important. Can I run up and hug them and give belly scratches, or will they require a slower, calmer approach, and time to get used to me? Both are fine, just great to know ahead of time. Do they have any quirks? Scared easily of loud noises?
A typical day
I live in the suburbs, so we'll be able to enjoy long walks around the residential neighborhoods. If your dog does well at dog parks, then we'll definitely make trips there.
