Pet care experience
I have owned dogs for over 40 years and have worked with all sizes, breeds, and energy levels both personally & professionally. I'm a dog mommy to 2 wonderful rescues (Lucy, 14yr old Border Collie/Lab & Teddy Bear, 5yr old Great Pyrenees). I'm also now a mommy to 2 little girls who share my love of pups. I work for myself and am home full time with our daughters & pups, so your pup would have around the clock love & attention (and exercise if needed!). I started my first dog business when I was helping my church launch a campus in NYC. We started by sitting/boarding in clients homes and expanded to walking through some of the most beautiful areas of NYC! Following that, I moved to Raleigh and launched the Triangle's first adventure dog business where we took teams of pups out hiking every day (check out my former IG at ncAdventureDog to see pics :)). Now that I'm a mom to two beautiful little girls and our pups, our family recently relocated to Young Harris and we wanted to open our home to our furry friends again! I am home with our girls so your pup will have TLC (and exercise if needed) around the clock :) I have two little people who love to help, too :) We have something for pups of every age. Our senior dog prefers to nap 99% of the day, and our 5yo pup prefers to run around our fenced area out back and bark at the wind :) No matter your pup's energy level, we have something for everyone!

Amanda is super amazing. She was extremely good with our Labradoodle Luka. We felt comfortable and could relax being away knowing he was in good care. She sent pictures throughout the days and provided updates. 100% would recommend and use her again.

We treat your pup like they are a member of the family! We ensure feedings are done separately, and due to the size of our house, can zone off different areas if absolutely necessary. We also have a fenced in area for exercise in the back as well.

A typical day
We cater each stay to the specific needs of the pup - just let us know what your pup needs :) We have a large house so if your pup needs a quiet place to nap, we can do that; alternatively, if they need to play around the clock, our house is kid/pup friendly and we can make that work, too. Just let us know!

I work for myself and the majority of my work is at home, so your pup would have around the clock care. My husband also works from home, so when I pickup my daughter from school, the pups still have a human at home :)
