Energetic furry friend lover!

Pet care experience

I have owned a dog since the day I was born! Dobie the Doberman Pincher, Scooby the pure-bred Rottweiler, Benny the Shitzu-Pomeranian and currently aiding in the care of Nala the Terrier-Pitbull and Boston the Golden Retriever. No discrimination on breeds whatsoever and I do believe that you have to get to know the animal to understand how to communicate with them and it depends on what the owner feels comfortable with. I am available at almost all times and love to be outside and go for hikes, toss a ball around, or go for a walk by the water. I also have no problem watching some doggy-tv and snuggling, and baths, medications, etc. are no problem. I do not possess any education in relation to animals but I have acquired an M.B.A. and my boyfriend and I would love to foster dogs together one day. He would also be the only other person present, if ever, and we both love animals of all kinds.

Amanda is absolutely amazing! She stayed at our house for 10 days to watch over our dog and 2 cats. All the animals adored her! She pampered and cuddled with them all, kept our house immaculately clean, and provided us with daily pics and videos so we knew our animals were all safe and sound. I highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs! We will definitely be using her again!

Amanda has always had dogs and cats. She is very kind hearted and loving and took great care of them, they lived years beyond their life expectancy. She's very much a dog person . I'm sure she'll always have dogs of her own which she treats them as her children.

Information Amanda B. would like to know about your pet

I would enjoy knowing any and all information that an owner would believe to have bearing on my time with the dog. Things I would like to know, but are not limited to; What does the dog typically eat? What does the dog typically do for fun? How much exercise the dog typically gets a day? Do they have a favorite toy? Do they respond to certain signals or code words? Do they take any medication? If so, how is it administered? When? And how? Have they ever had any injuries that still affect them? Do they enjoy being in the car? Do they get along with other dogs and children?

A typical day

I like to research new areas to explore whether it be a field, the woods, or by the water. Fetch is always number one on the list but tug of war, frisbees, trail running, leisurely hikes, car rides etc. are always options depending on what the dog enjoys.
